Frank’s International hosted its annual FranksGiving event on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the Lafayette Training Center, located at 601 E. Verot School Road, Lafayette, Louisiana. Approximately 250 Thanksgiving meal kits were distributed to local church groups and charities, as well as to individual families who were identified and pre-selected in collaboration with Love INC.
“We are thankful for so much, it’s important that we give back to our great community. Since 2009, we have provided nearly 2,000 meals,” said Cliff Roberts, Global QHSE Director and original founder of the event.
FranksGiving provides a complete meal in time for the Thanksgiving holiday. Each family receives a 10-12 lb. turkey, rice, green beans, yams, macaroni & cheese, and dinner rolls. The meals were funded in part by donations from Frank’s employees, who also assisted in loading the meals into vehicles. Additional funding was provided by Frank’s International, vendors, and local businesses.
“Every family deserves to enjoy a home-cooked meal on Thanksgiving, and we are thankful to lend a helping hand to members of our community who are in need,” said Toby Pitre, Vice President of North America Offshore for Frank’s.
